Carissa Keeter is a compassionate licensed clinical social worker dually licensed in Colorado and Florida. Carissa earned a Masters of Social Work degree from Boise State University and graduated with honors from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelors of Science degree in Pre-Professional Health Sciences.
Carissa has skill in various settings to include private practice, residential inpatient, and community-based mental health. She provides services for adolescents, families, and adults of all ages. Carissa specializes in stress management, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, parenting, and military involvement. She uses a variety of techniques to promote growth such as attachment-based therapy, Gottman method, dialectical behavior therapy, and cognitive behavior therapy among many other evidence-based treatment modalities.
Carissa believes in a holistic, strength-based approach to counseling. She provides a warm and encouraging atmosphere where she strives to make each individual feels safe and supported as they begin their journey toward healing and recovery.
In her free time, Carissa enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and four kids.
